we’ll be there alongside you

Development / Engineering

Our representatives will discuss the ins and outs of solar with you to insure your understanding of solar power, mounting options, and how solar can benefit your home, business or nonprofit. We utilize the industry leading software Aurora™ and the knowledge of our NABCEP™ certified experts at ESL to predetermine your locations solar potential. The next step will be studying your utility bills to understand your power consumption and utility rate - this helps us determine how much money you will save by adding solar. Our design team will then create digital makeups of the system(s) that will go on your home, business or non profit building. After a design has been confirmed, we will be able provide detailed predictions of how much output your new solar system will produce for the following 25 years.

Turnkey installation Services

Eagle Solar and Light is a full spectrum solar company - this means that we handle the process from beginning to end with no middle-man. Our Construction Managers and Installation Professionals will have been in communication with our Design Team from the very beginning, often times aiding in the design. Upon the day we break ground, our crew will have the site prepped for safety and efficiency with permits in hand.

From there, each process can be very different depending on the job - be it a home, business or non-profit building. But worry not, whether you want a 500kWh system on the roof of your warehouse or a 50kWh system at your mountain house, ESL will see it through all the way to inspection. Take a look at the portfolio section of our website to learn more about what all we can do.

Tesla Powerwall is a fully-integrated AC battery system for residential or light commercial use. Its rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack provides energy storage for solar self-consumption, time-based control, and backup.

Tesla Powerwall provides seamless backup power, with or without solar. It is the optimal alternative to a gas or propane-powered generator that can be loud, malodorous and difficult to maintain.   The Powerwall is a completely automated system that installs easily and requires no maintenance.  Also, unlike a typical home generator, your Powerwall can detect grid outages and automatically become your home’s main energy source. It will protect your home from the next power outage and keep your lights on, phones charged, and no puddles under the fridge.

With or without solar, we can design a back-up system to ensure at least 24 hours of power during a utility grid outage.

The Process / What To Expect

Our representatives will discuss the ins and outs of solar with you to insure your understanding of solar power, types of solar for homeowners, mounting options, and how solar can benefit you and your home. We utilize our satellite programming in office to predetermine your home’s solar potential. The next step will be moving forward by studying your utility bills to understand your power consumption and your utility rate.

At this stage, one or more of our representatives will perform a site assessment of the property to roof to determine the best place for a solar array. If necessary, representatives will take measurements of roofs and obstructions to refine the design of the solar array. Any concerns or questions about the solar potential of your home will be covered during the site assessment. After the site assessment is performed, we create a hand tailored solar proposal that covers everything from what your solar array will produce on a monthly basis vs. what you are paying your utility, to the return on investment, to warranty, to size of solar system array and more.

Your Eagle Solar & Light representative will review your detailed proposal and address any further questions or concerns you may have. Once agreement is reached, we move forward by sending in a interconnection request with your utility company.

Eagle Solar & Light handles all submissions of building permits with the city or county where your house resides. This process can take up to 4 weeks depending on the location of the installation.

After the permit process has finished and materials have been ordered, we will schedule the installation with you.

After safety equipment is prepared and materials arrive, Eagle Solar & Light will begin the installation process. The installation itself is non-intrusive and typically without heavy machinery. Being typically on the roof of a building, installation of solar equipment can be weather dependent. Once the installation of solar equipment is complete and the wiring of the system has finished, a certified electrician performs the interconnection with the utility company. After interconnection, the final inspections by city or county takes place.

After the final inspection is completed, you are producing power and offsetting your utility bill every day.
